Having spent most of her design career working in-house, Alexandra knows how to translate design for a business context; and how to inspire and support those taking their first uncomfortable steps on this journey.
She was a founding member of the Customer Experience Design team at National Australian Bank, improving the user experience of banking and building design capability within the organisation.
More recently she led a team of human-centred designers in the Product Development & Innovation team at Public Transport Victoria. This role introduced the concept of human-centred design to the organisation, working with transport planners and engineers to improve Victoria’s train, tram and bus network.
