Facilitating impactful workshops
Creating and facilitating great workshops is a core skill for those wishing to bring people together to tackle complex problems.
While many learn by watching and participating in workshops run by others, some will find it helpful to receive some concentrated training to boost their skills in a safe and engaging environment where they can hear about concepts and then apply them to a workshop they’d like to create and run for themselves.
What you'll learn
This half-day workshop will help you to:
- Deepen your understanding of what it takes to design and present kick-ass workshops
- See the theory being applied to the workshop you are participating in
- Apply the concepts learned during the day to design a workshop you wish to run in the future
Workshop structure
This workshop will include a combination of theory, discussion and practice by applying the concepts to a workshop that you will begin to develop during the day. You will be able to work on a workshop you want to design and run; or make up an example if you aren’t currently planning a workshop.
Take aways
You’ll take away:
- The presentation slides
- Notes and workbook, "Creating and running kick-ass workshops"
