We love interns!
Our internships do not typically result in a full-time role. Think of your time with us as a learning opportunity to support your overall transition into the field of human-centred design. Towards the end of your internship we will provide advice on how to update your CV and position yourself for future roles.
What’s in it for us?We love the energy and fresh perspective that new people bring to our team. We want to learn from you as much as you learn from us. We also feel good about helping people transition into our industry.
What does a Meld intern look like? You can come from anywhere in the world. If you’re coming from overseas you will need to arrange and pay for your own travel, visa and accommodation.
At Meld we value diversity of thinking and that’s what we look for when selecting our interns. You may have just graduated from a design, psychology, anthropology, or business course. Or you may be a seasoned professional looking for a sideways move into human-centred design. Either way, you are naturally curious, proactive, collaborative and resilient.
When are the next internships?
We will open our intake of applications for 2019 internships September 7, 2018 and closing October 05, 2018. We will review and narrow down applications, interviewing candidates the week of October 15. We will invite the six intern candidates to secure an internship position the week of October 22.
Our next internships in 2019 will be:
- April 2019, one for Sydney and one for Melbourne
- July 2019, one for Sydney and one for Melbourne
- October 2019, one for Sydney and one for Melbourne
