Innovation award for a Meld project

A belated congratulations to the NSW Department of Education and Communities (DEC) for winning a gold award at Intranet Innovations 2012 for the Employee Essentials – personalised toolbar.

The toolbar enables all DEC’s 100,000+ teachers and staff to customise the apps and content they can easily access each time they login.

Various individuals from Meld Studios have been involved in strategy, research and design for different aspects of the DEC Intranet. The work on Employee Essentials was led by Janna with support from Niina, Kimberley and Alex. Nice to see excellent work being recognised with an award.

We intend to write a case study to describe the project and our involvement in more detail.
